The 5 Bedroom house in Mtwapa -Jumba Ruins is constructed of high quality materials with all doors made of hard wood. The Lamu door with artistic features was imported all the way from Lamu and assembled on site. Roofing is made of onduline sheets that have a life span of more than 15 years. The walls are protected by Galana slubs while the floor has special tiles imported from South Africa and can withstand the friction of rough boots leaving them intact and as good as new. The house has a bore hole and a 3000 litre water tank .All the rain water is harvested as the policy of the owner is to reduce wastage of our natural resources. The water harvested is used to water the plants and trees planted in the compound. Kindly note that all the furniture is antique and is sold separately from the main house. The house has 2 beautiful antique Lions, one at the main entrance to the house and another one in the sitting room which are a sight to behold. Within the compound , there is a shed that can be used for raring chicken or used as a resting place.
